Over the past 11-or-so years, I posted semi-regular research updates to the Rogers Archaeology Lab blog (on the main National Museum of Natural History website). When my supervisor retired, the blog was archived (here). I will transfer posts I authored or co-authored for that blog on this site. The transfer process may take a while to complete, but stay tuned!
I will be transferring most posts that I was the sole or main author on, but not all posts I was a secondary author on. I am doing that mainly because the latter tend to be part of series that were mostly authored by other people and I will not be reproducing their work here (unless they would like me to!) and they would therefore not really work on their own. On the homepage of this website, you can find a complete list of all posts I was an author on. I will add links to all archived versions of those posts at some point in the future also.
I will do my best to reproduce any posts that were part of a series in the correct order, but some other posts may appear out of order (i.e., not in the order they were originally published), as I may change my mind on what should or should not be included here.
The transfer process is mostly just a matter of cutting and pasting, but I do have to upload each image manually. Fixing all the interior links and footnotes takes some time, as does writing alt text for the images. Therefore, I do not expect this process to be completed anytime soon. Please do let me know if you see any links that need updating or any missing or broken footnote references.
